Infant feeding support · Maidenhead

Feeding can be hard. You do not have to work it out alone.

Whether you are breastfeeding, bottle feeding or finding your own way between the two, I will listen to what is happening and help you find a path that feels right for your family.

Tell me about feeding

Four weeks of WhatsApp and email follow-up are included with feeding visits.

Feeding is not always easy, and pain is not something you simply have to put up with. You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or a perfect explanation of what is wrong. We can start with what you have noticed.

Reasons families get in touch

Whatever feeding looks like today, we can talk it through.

01

Feeding hurts

If latch feels painful, your nipples are sore, or every feed makes you tense up, we can look for a more comfortable way forward.

02

You are worried about milk

We can look at how feeds are going and talk through your questions about supply and whether your baby is getting enough.

03

Feeds feel unsettled

Long feeds, frequent feeds, clicking or difficulty staying attached can leave you exhausted. We will look at the whole feeding picture.

04

Your plans are changing

Bottles, expressing, mixed feeding or returning to work can bring new questions. The support should fit your goals, not somebody else’s.

An unhurried home visit

We begin with your story, then make a plan together.

As an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), I can help with both straightforward questions and more complex feeding challenges. I will listen without judgement, observe a feed if that is useful, and work with you on practical changes you can try at home.

  1. ListenWe talk about your baby, your feeding history and what matters most to you.
  2. Look togetherWe can observe a feed and explore positioning, latch, bottle feeding or expressing where relevant.
  3. Keep in touchYou leave with a plan you understand and four weeks of follow-up by WhatsApp and email.
Care that can continue

One visit does not have to answer everything.

Feeding changes as your baby grows. If you would benefit from more time, we can discuss a series of visits to try changes, see how they feel and adapt the plan. If expressing is part of your feeding journey, I also offer a dedicated flange-fitting and pumping consultation to help you find a comfortable fit and a routine that works for you.

Another way to get support

Let’s talk about feeding, wherever you are.

If a home visit is not practical, ask about a remote session. We can discuss what you need and whether this option would suit you and your baby.
